PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate torque loss and rotational nonuniformity of a needle roller, to carry out smooth rotational operation of a revolving cylinder and to constantly provide stable and uniform gripping force. SOLUTION: Holding holes 141 to store a plural number of the needle rollers 13 by arranging them in the circumferential direction of a roller holding cylinder 14 are formed along an overall peripheral region of the roller holding cylinder 14 with specified intervals in the circumferential direction and the axial direction of the roller holding cylinder 14, and each of the needle rollers 13 to be stored in each of these holding holes 141 is held so as to independently rotate without making contact with each other on the chuck 10 furnished with a holder main body 11 having an elastic deformable chuck cylinder 112, a revolving cylinder 12 to be fitted free to rotate through a large number of the needle rollers 13 on an outer periphery of the chuck cylinder 112 and the roller holding cylinder 14 to hold a large number of the needle rollers 13 interposed between the chuck cylinder 112 and the revolving cylinder 12.
