PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for ink jet recording which has properties of drying (absorbing) ink, a coat strength preventing falling-off of inorganic particulates and cracking, a printed image quality of a high degree and glossiness, and an ink jet recording material using the same. SOLUTION: The resin composition for ink jet recording contains the inorganic particulates of 50-2,000 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of an acrylic resin having a hydrolyzable silyl group, and the ink jet recording material has at least one layer of the resin composition as an ink receiving layer on a base. |
