PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent providing device with which a catheter inserted into a protecting sheath that is long and narrow in shape and inserted into the vessel while bending or curving is smoothly moved in respect to the protecting sheath. SOLUTION: A protecting sheath 1 is inserted into the vas of a living body, a stent 12 is retained in the vas at outer periphery of a tip side is installed, and a catheter 2 is inserted through the protecting sheath 1 and transfers the stent 12 to a retaining position in the vas. A moving resistant between the protecting sheath and the catheter is reduced by placing a contact resistance reducing part 21 on the outer surface of the catheter 2. |
