PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operations by eliminating tension working on a strip during replacement of a reel in a winding unit for winding the strip through the intermittent rotation of the reel, the unit having a driving one-way clutch and a braking one-way clutch both assembled to the inside diameter surface of the reel. SOLUTION: In the winding unit, a spring type torque limiter 18 is interposed between the respective outer wheels 12 and 12' of the driving one-way clutch 9 and the braking one-way clutch 11 and a reel boss portion 52. When the torque limiter 18 is rotated in winding direction, a coil spring 27 is locked to transmit torque. When the torque limiter 18 is forcibly rotated in the direction opposite to the winding direction, a slip occurs and the tension applied to a cover tape 39 is eliminated. |
