PURPOSE: To provide a color liquid crystal electronic view finder capable of surely preventing a polarizing plate which exists near the focal plane of an ocular lens from being heated to a high temp. and deteriorated by parallel rays of the sunshine, etc., entering from an ocular lens side. CONSTITUTION: A color liquid crystal element 4 of a liquid crystal display plate 3 is arranged in the focal position of the ocular lens 7. The polarizing plate 6b arranged on the ocular lens 7 side of the color liquid crystal element 4 is arranged in the position just before the ocular lens 7 apart sufficiently from the focal position of the ocular lens 7 by separating the polarizing plate from the color liquid crystal element 4. As a result, the image displayed on the color liquid crystal element 4 is formed in the retina of the pupil via the ocular lens 7. The sunshine is not condensed to the polarizing plate 6b and the deterioration of the polarizing plate 6b by the sunshine 8b is prevented even if the parallel rays 8h of the sunshine are made incident from the ocular lens 7 side. |
