PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constructing method for a towering steel-frame structure preventing scattering by wind or falling down occurring from a joint portion for a stay of a tower crane, and improving safety in working at high and construction performance. SOLUTION: A climbing type crane 15 is disposed on a center portion of a constructed steel-frame structure 2, and a frame-shaped outside curing fence 10 hiding a working part is provided. An elevating means 16 for elevating the outside curing fence 10 is attached. The towering steel-frame structure 2 is constructed by successively repeating the steps of erecting a steel-frame within the outside curing fence 10 by the crane 15, attaching decorations on outer surface of an erection lower story, making the crane 15 climb, replacing the relation of the outside curing fence 10, and making the outside curing fence 10 climb to be fixed and moored.
