PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank and a method for transferring liquids, capable of discharging various kinds of liquids or the like, which flow into the storage tank and whose components are different from one another, in the same ratio as they have been at the inflow time. SOLUTION: The storage tank 11 stores therein two or more kinds of liquids having different components or a liquid on which solids float in a dispersed state. The tank 11 is provided with outlet ports 10 in which the outflow resistance of the liquids is varied in the direction of the height of each outlet port.
