METHOD FOR PRESERVING MICROORGANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably preserving microorganisms for a long period without the need of any special device and complicated operation and without altering microorganismic character in the form of a microorganismic suspension liquid proliferatively cultured at 15-30 deg.C and collected, so as to enable the liquid to be applied as a standard liquid for internal accuracy management for the test of food-related microorganisms. SOLUTION: This method for preserving microorganisms is characterized by comprising preserving at low temperatures a suspension which is prepared by proliferatively culturing microorganisms at 15-30 deg.C and re-suspending the collected microorganismic cells after proliferated either in distilled water or in a solution of a preservation stabilizer.
