摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting a concentration of the number of microorganism, a substrate concentration and a dissolved oxygen concentration in a cleaning reaction without determining the substrate which is the target of the cleaning reaction by uniformly describing the concentration of the number of the microorganism in the phase by using terms corresponding to the consumption of the dissolved oxygen concentration and the consumption of the substrate. SOLUTION: The cleaning reaction utilizing the microorganism is predicted by converting the differential equation describing a nonsteady and nonlinear phenomenon corresponding to the concentration of the number of the microorganism, the substrate concentration and the dissolved oxygen concentration in an aqueous system including the substrate as a pollutant and the microorganism, into a difference equation, obtaining a numerical solution by using parameters used in the difference equation as variables, assaying the ability of the microorganism for degrading a standard material, comparing the numerical solution of the difference equation and the assayed value of the ability of the microorganism for degrading the standard material, and specifying the numerical solution nearest to the assayed value as the behavior of the concentration of the number of the microorganism, the substrate concentration and the dissolved oxygen concentration in the aqueous phase.
