PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic filter and air cleaner that contributes to the reduction of abnormal sounds caused by the collision of particles having photocatalytic substances. SOLUTION: The photocatalytic filter is provided with an accommodating chamber 4t, flame bodies 41, 46 having air ducts 41x, 46x, many particles having photocatalytic substances packed in the accommodating chamber 4t, fishnet members 42, 43 having many ventilative fishnet openings 42f, 43f smaller than the size of particles 40 residing in the air ducts 41x, 46x, which control the looseness of particles 40 as the fishnet members 42, 43, compress the packed-in particles 40. This photocatalyic filer can be used as an air cleaner as well. |
