PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately and simply determining a gum state suitable for molding or not when forming a dental synthetic resin from powder materials composed of a homopolymer and/or a copolymer of a polymethacrylate and a liquid methacrylic acid ester containing an organic halogen compound. SOLUTION: In the dental synthetic resin material molded, polymerized and cured when a powder material composed of homopolymer of polymethacrylic acid ester and/or copolymer of polymethacrylic acid ester is mixed with a liquid material composed of methacrylic acid ester containing the organic halogen compound and the mixture became rice cake-like state, a rice cake-like state in the range exhibiting a resistance value of 3.0 to 5.8 times based on electrical resistivity immediately after mixing the powder material with the liquid material is determined as optimal rice cake state.
