<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel locking unit capable of avoiding too long responding time until unlocking. SOLUTION: The steering wheel locking unit is furnished with driving units 9, 12 for a rotatable spindle 1. A lock nut 4 free to energize by the spindle 1 is provided, and this lock nut moves an engagement disc 5 together at the time of rotating the spindle 1. The engagement disc 5 is rotated at the time of transferring to a locking position and a lock pin 16 connected accordingly locks a steering wheel.</p> |
