PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional element made of a resin enhaned in the controllability of adhesion and capable of suppressing the generation ratio of the peel failure between a resin base material and a photosetting resin at the time of release after the molding of the photosetting resin, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The photosetting resin 13 cured by ionizing radiation is provided between the resin base material 11, which has a shape almost near to a final shape and is pervious to ultraviolet rays, and a mold 12, imparting the final shape to the resin base material by reversal transfer, and cured by the irradiation with ultraviolet rays from the side of the resin base material to form the functional element made of the resin. In this molding method, physicochemical treatment is applied to the part of the resin material being in contact with the photosetting resin so that the adhesive strength of the resin base material and the photosetting resin after curing treatment becomes higher than that of a mold transfer surface and the photosetting resin after curing treatment.
