PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical rolling method to manufacture a U-shape steel sheet pile in particular a Larsen steel sheet pile by a universal rolling mill. SOLUTION: In rolling a Larsen steel sheet pile using a rectangular or shaped section, the Larsen steel sheet pile method features to form a final product section by arranging one or more universal rolling mills, directly dropping the pressure to a web or its equivalent by means of a pair of horizontal rolls and to a flange and a coupling or their equivalents by means of a pair of vertical rolls of the mill, and by forming a monotonously extended mid process section from the flange or its equivalent to the coupling or its equivalent in the rough forming process from a raw material to its mid process section, and by dropping the pressure to the mid process section and bending the coupling in a finishing process. |
