PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire saw capable of forming each annular groove in a predetermined pitch to arrange wire in a predetermined pitch, resulting in increasing accuracy in thickness of work. SOLUTION: The wire 18 is wound around processing rollers 15 to 17 to form rows of the wire 18. A processing portion S is a portion where the work 23 is pressed on the rows of the wire 18 and is cut. Outer peripheral portions of the processing rollers 15, 16 at the front and rear in a wire traveling direction are made of material with Rockwell hardness HRC>=20. The annular grooves 15a, 16a are formed in the outer peripheral portions, and the wire 18 is arranged in the annular grooves 15a, 16a. |
