METHOD OF PRODUCING POWDERY HERB MEDICINE, AND/OR GRANULATED HERB MEDICINE AND TABLET COMPRISING THE POWDERY HERB MEDICINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide granules and tablets of powdery crude drug and/or Chinese herb medicines that can be effective in a reduced dose and has strength and hardness durable to high-speed packaging and to transportation. SOLUTION: Powdery herbs and/or Chinese herb medicine are combined with 5-10 wt.% of light silicic acid anhydride and they are mixed. The mixture is compression-molded, then crushed to prepare powdery crude drug and/or Chinese medicine granules comprising powdery crude drug. This invention further provides tablets that are mainly composed of powdery crude drugs and/or Chinese herbal drug comprising powdery crude drugs.
