PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear seat capable of realizing a large space for storing luggage even in a vehicle having a short length in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: This rear seat is comprised of a seat cushion 141 and a seat back 161, and is provided on the second floor 105 which is higher than the first floor 101 where a front seat 103 is provided. The first floor 101 is a foot space SP for a person sitting on the rear seat, and has a housing mechanism (a link 175, a belt 201, and a front pipe 131) which houses the seat cushion 141 into the foot space SP in a slanting direction and a reclining mechanism (a forward tilting mechanism) 151 which tilts the seat back 161 forwardly.
