PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll cassette in which a roll sheet can be prevented from loosing, and a tape printer being fixed with the roll cassette. SOLUTION: An adhesive sheet 111 is stuck to one end face in the widthwise direction of a roll sheet 10 wound around a core 110. A unit holder 13 is then inserted into the core 110 from one end side thereof and stopped in place resiliently. Subsequently, the adhesive sheet 111 is stuck to the other end face in the widthwise direction of the roll sheet 10 and a slide spool 114 is sliding fitted in the core 110 from the other end side of the roll sheet 10 and stuck to the outer end face of the adhesive sheet 111. Thereafter, a leaf spring 118 is butted against the outer end face of the slide spool 114. Finally, each resilient stopper 122 of a unit holder 12 is inserted into a through hole made in the center of the leaf spring 118 and the slide spool 114 and the tubular part 113 of the core 110 and sliding fitted to the inner side face at the side part 112 of the core 110.
