PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer equipped with a capping device which enhances a closely contacting property between a cap and a printhead and enhances performance for preventing drying of nozzles by eliminating a gap at capping. SOLUTION: A top end of a cap is made to easily come into contact with the whole of a print head by providing a groove on a surface of nozzles of the print head. |
