SUPPORT FOR LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE, ITS PRODUCTION METHOD, AND ORIGINAL PLATE FOR LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a support for a lithographic printing plate excellent in stern ink scumming properties even when the severe schedule control of an aluminum plate is not implemented. SOLUTION: In the support for the lithographic printing plate having the abundance ratio per unit area of an Fe Si intermetallic compound, etc., existing within 10 μm from the surface layer of 0.5% or below, the aluminum plate having an aluminum content of at least 99 wt.% and the abundance ratio per unit area of the Fe Si intermetallic compound or a Si deposit existing within 10 μm from the surface layer of at least 1% is washed with an acidic washing liquid which contains sulfuric acid of a concentration of 300-800 g/liter and the temperature of which is 65-90 deg.C and subjected to anodic oxidation treatment to form an oxide film on anode. A method for producing the support for the lithographic printing plate and an original plate for the lithographic printing plate are provided.
