PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain chipping and scratch of a work piece by enlarging elastic deformation of an adhesive layer and reducing load applied to the work piece and a wheel while maintaining an adhesive strength between a grinding member layer and a base metal, and a good cutting property, in a vitrified super abrasive grain wheel. SOLUTION: A filler (phenol hollow body 4) having 5 to 20 GPa Young's module and made of a phenolic resin, a synthetic resin such as nylon, polyimide, polyamide is added to an adhesive of the vitrified super abrasive grain wheel to which the grinding member layer 2 is adhered by the adhesive mainly comprised of a resin. Accordingly, the elastic deformation of the adhesive layer 3 at grinding work increases, and therefore the load and impact applied to the work piece and the grinding member layer are absorbed by the adhesive layer, whereby generation of the chipping and scratch of a ridge line of the work piece is restrained.
