PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression treatment device for a PET bottle in which a cap is not completely crushed. SOLUTION: This compression treatment device for a PET bottle is provided with a pair of the first compression rollers 21A and 21B which compress the PET bottle thrown from the first inlet port 17, and a pair of the second compression rollers 25A and 25B which compress the PET bottle compressed by this pair of the first compression rollers. The first compression rollers have the first compression teeth 23Ha and 23Hb which are provided along the first shafts at regular intervals, and the second compression rollers have the second compression teeth 27Ha and 27Hb which are provided along the second shafts at regular intervals. In the device, compression teeth distance between the second compression teeth 27Ha and 27Hb and the second compression teeth 27Ha and 27Hb, and separation distance between the tip end part of the second compression teeth 27Ha and 27Hb which are provided in one side of the second shaft and the other side of the peripheral surface thereof are set so that the cap is not crushed until it becomes the size of plastic deformation.
