PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which enables the volume of stored glutinous materials to be observed easily from outside, and also which prevents the stored glutinous materials from being mixed again with rice. SOLUTION: This rice cooker, which consists of a cooker body, an inner cooker accommodated in the body, and a lid body installed onto the body freely openably and closably, has a steam outlet to exhaust the steam generating during rice cooking. A glutinous materials storing part 15 is provided at the steam outlet. Inside this storing part 15, a tongue piece part (a backward blow prevention valve) 30a to prevent the stored glutinous materials from flowing backward into the steam outlet is formed at an inflow opening 22 into which the glutinous materials flow in.
