The diecasting alloy based on aluminium-silicon contains9.5 to 11.5 w. % silicon0.1 to 0.5 w. % magnesium0.5 to 0.8 w. % manganesemax 0.15 w. % ironmax 0.03 w. % coppermax 0.10 w. % zincmax 0.15 w. % titaniumwith the remainder aluminium and for permanent refinement 30 to 300 ppm strontium.
