The invention concerns a method for making a wall element, in particular a ceiling element, consisting of a polygonal frame (1) whereon is stretched a fabric (3); said method which consists prior to fixing the fabric (3), in bending said frame (1) outwards on each of its sides (5a, 5a', 5b, 5b') so as to provide it with a deflection such that, when the fabric (3) is fixed on the frame (1), the tension exerted by the fabric deforms in reverse said side and brings it back to its initial position before its pre-deformation. Said method is characterised in that the bending is carried out at a distance from the ends of each of the sides. |
