The ventilation (11) fan ring for arrangement on an axial ventilator (7) takes the shape of a thin walled hollow cylinder, with two parallel end flats (18,19). Their respective normal axes (24) from the middle axis (8) of the cylinder are different. The axial end (18) may be seen with an overall periphery of a directional flange (17), which may be arranged in the end flats (18). The flange may be seen with attachment organs (21). In the ventilation ring there may be a closed cool channel (15) through which fluid may flow. The axial ventilator may be arranged on an automobile (1) with a higher drive aggregate (3) on which the ventilator is built on a swivel axis (8) so that the ventilator extends in the axial direction.
