PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the light quantity of a light emitting head and to adjust the light quantity of the head to that it becomes uniform. SOLUTION: A CPU 30 makes respective light emitting elements 15 of a light emitting head 10 emit light at a predetermined pattern so that lights are not interfered each other. A CCD area sensor 20 obtains a pick-up image corresponding to the light emitted from the light emitting head 10. The CPU 30 obtains a light quantity measurement position using the picked-up image, then measures the light quantity.
