PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple heating jig for a forging metal mold by which the forging metal mold can be heated efficiently, and a heating method for forging metal mold using this heating jig. SOLUTION: Using the heating jig 7 in which a heater 8 is provided in the central portion and one surface 7a is made to be a configuration in line with the configuration of a forging face 1a in an upper metal mold 1 and the other surface 7b is made to be the configuration in line with the configuration of the forging face 2a in the lower metal mold 2, the metal molds 1, 2 are heated with the heating jig 7 in the condition in which the heating jig 7 is sandwiched with the upper and lower metal molds 1, 2. Also, at this time, the heating jig 7 is maintained under a pressurized condition in a low load with the metal molds 1, 2. Or, the heating jig 7 and a soft metal plate are maintained under the pressurized condition in the low load by sandwiching the soft metal plate between the heating jig 7 and the metal molds 1, 2 with the metal molds 1, 2. |
