PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a state of a part of an air bag being caught at an end part of a lid part at the time when the air bag develops while opening the lid part in the case of integrally forming the lid part on a cover by a cleaving part on a cover structure of an air bag device. SOLUTION: The lid part 8 is integrally formed by the cleaving parts 4, 5 on the cover 1 to cover the air bag 21, and it is constituted so that the cleaving parts 4, 5 are ruptured in accordance with expansion of the air bag 21, the lid part 8 is opened and the air bag 21 is developed. When the lid part 8 opens, a protective member 16 to cover the end part of the lid part 8 positioned between the air bag 21 and the end part of the lid part 8 is installed on the lid part 8. |
