PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a film cutter for a rolled film or the like from being disposed of. SOLUTION: The film cutter includes a container body 10 for housing the rolled film 40, a lid 20 of the container body 10 and a metallic plate 31 housed in the lid 20 and formed with a cutting edge 31a wherein the cutting edge 31a can protrude from the lid 20. Further a part of the lid 20 includes a double structure comprising an external plate 22b and an internal plate 22c. The metallic plate 31 can be moved in a gap between the external plate 22b and the internal plate 22c. A part of a sliding member 30 for holding the metallic plate 31 is exposed from the lid 20. Leaf springs 33 and 34 for biasing the sliding member 30 in the direction of housing the plate 31 in the lid 20 are further provided. The cutting edge 31a can cut a part of the rolled film 40 which is unrolled and pulled out of a gap between the container body 10 and the lid 20.
