PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box opening speed relaxation device with an easy method without adopting other parts. SOLUTION: A glove box 2 is installed to an opening part of an instrument panel. The glove box 2 is supported by supporting axis 16 so that its lower part cover can be freely opened and closed. A stopper 6 is integral molding to glove box side wall 11 and long hole 15 to which a stopper 6 is fitted is provided to glove box cover 12. A slit 10 is provided above and below a long hole 15 complete opening vicinity of the glove box 2 and a space between the slit 10 and the long hole 15 becomes a slide contact part 8 and slide to the stopper 6 and add sliding resistance and relax the open speed of the glove box 2.
