PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a hydraulic inorganic molded body wherein the apparatus is low costed witout being complicated, and raw material can be uniformly fed onto a water permeable sheet. SOLUTION: A water permeable sheet moving longitudinally, a raw material feeder equipped with a developing roll for feeding raw material of a slurry state onto an upper surface of the water permeable sheet, and a suction means for dehydrating by vacuum the raw material of the slurry state from a bottom surface of the water permeable sheet are provided. The suction means comprises a plurality of pieces of suction boxes connected annularly and a vacuum box. For a plurality of pieces of suction boxes annulary connected in sychronism with the water permeable sheet, in an apparatus for manufacturing a hydraulic inorganic molded body made movable thereby, a guide rail is provided on both side parts of the suction box, and the raw material feeder is made reciprocably movable on the guide rail moving in synchronism with the water permeable sheet.
