<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device for a game device having a simple structure, which can provide operability similar to a feeling of operating a real motorcycle. SOLUTION: The input device comprises a right and a left body members 22 and 40 mounted so as to rotate mutually on one end, and provided with grips on each of the other ends; a brake lever 32 provided at least near one of the grips 2; a throttle mechanism provided on the grip 2 of the right body member 22; a volume 49 which detects rotation of at least one of the right and the left body members 22 and 40, and outputs wheel operating signals of a motorcycle character corresponding to a rotation amount; a volume 37 which detects rotation of the brake lever 32, and outputs braking signals of the motorcycle character corresponding to a rotation amount; and a volume 26 which detects a rotation of the right grip by the throttle mechanism, and outputs acceleration signals of the motorcycle character corresponding to a rotation amount.</p> |
