PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a surface protection film which has high-degree weather resistance, excellent transparency, and excellent peelability after the use. SOLUTION: This surface protection film is transparent, does not substantially contain a pigment, and is prepared by forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side of a substrate layer. The substrate layer has an ultraviolet transmittance of 10% or lower in the wavelength range of 190-370 nm, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains a primary antioxidant, a secondary antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber, and a light stabilizer. The substrate layer comprises a polyolefin resin, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer mainly comprises a hydrogenation product of a styrene-conjugated diene copolymer elastomer.
