PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging in a rotary polishing disc and burning in a polished member both caused by generation of high temperature frictional heat in polishing a hard polished member such as metal, glass, stone, and wall member, the burning and clogging causing working alteration layer on a surface layer of the polished member. SOLUTION: In this rotary polishing disc, a plurality of abrasive cloth sheets 5 are radially stackedly arranged, and a plurality of small holes 3 are formed at random to each of the abrasive cloth sheets 5. Accordingly, flow of air generated at the time of rotating of the rotary polishing disc restrains the frictional heat thereby preventing burning. Even if a grinding member is wasted, the stacked grinding member is newly exposed to prevent the clogging.
