PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus for a gas-setting type casting mold, which facilitates to reduce both consumption of a gaseous catalyst and mold setting time preventing the gaseous catalyst from short-cutting, to prevent vent holes from clogging, to improve releasability of the casting mold from a molding die and also to optimize a coating amount of a parting agent. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a molding die 1 which has a molding cavity S to form a casting mold, a feeding mouth 4 opened at the top of the molding die 1, a supply system 9 for the gaseous catalyst connected to the feeding mouth 4, a plurality of vent holes 5 opened inside the molding die 1 at a designated pitch, a first inlet/outlet air system 12 communicating with each vent hole 5 in the side, a second inlet/outlet air system 13 communicating with each vent hole 5 in the bottom, a gas exhaust system 14 communicating with both the first inlet/outlet air system 12 and the second inlet/outlet air system 13 air system, and an inlet/outlet air valves 16 attached to the first inlet/outlet air system 12.
