PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for making a glass cover detached from a wattmeter clean without cleaning. SOLUTION: This method comprises heating the glass cover of the wattmeter to such a temperature that foreign matter on the surface of the glass cover can be burned but the shape and property of the glass cover do not change.
