METHOD OF APPLYING COATING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of applying a coating material, by which the work for obtaining a coating film having uniform thickness is performed at the time of applying the coating material containing fine powder of titanium oxide having photocatalytic performance and a silicone resin as components on a material to be coated by a spray device. SOLUTION: In the spray device, the distance between a spraying part and the material to be coated and the coating speed are measured and the alarm is displayed when the distance between the spraying part and the material to be coated is deviated from a prescribed set value. The measurement of the distance between the spraying part and the material to be coated is performed by using laser beam or ultrasonic wave.
