PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a rotation load of a carriage guide shaft while supporting the carriage guide shaft in an axial direction. SOLUTION: In a device 80 for supporting the carriage guide shaft 26 of a recording apparatus, the carriage guide shaft 26 is supported rotatably to a left side frame 16 and a right side frame, and at the same time, the carriage guide shaft 26 is pressed in the axial direction thereby being supported to both side frames. A mounting shaft 83 having a sharp leading end part 92 is set to the left side frame via a coil spring 84 and a mounting bracket 85. The leading end part of the mounting shaft butts against a position of a shaft center 86 at an end face 88 of an eccentric axial part 72 of the carriage guide shaft, whereby the carriage guide shaft is pressed and supported in the axial direction by the coil spring. |
