Method for the detection of fluid leaks from underwater pipelines, according to which an acoustic signal is acquired from an area near the underwater pipeline, and is then transmitted to a processing unit of the signal itself; the processing unit eliminates from the signal the frequencies outside a certain determined frequency range in order to obtain a determined working band, which is shifted to lower frequencies in order to obtain two quadrature signals with half the band width around a zero frequency. |
