PURPOSE: A solenoid valve of a parking brake is provided to make the best use of space in a vehicle, to operate the parking brake conveniently, and to prevent accidents by installing the parking brake solenoid valve, and supplying hydraulic pressure through a cylinder to wheels. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake solenoid valve is composed of a cylinder(1), and the side of the cylinder is closed completely. An electromagnetic coil(4) is installed in the cylinder, and a fixing blade(9) is mounted at the side of the electromagnetic coil to mount the electromagnetic coil in the vehicle body. Circulation holes(3,3b) are installed to flow brake oil to the cylinder, and a valve(6) is mounted in the cylinder to open and close circulation holes. A connecting bar(7) is installed between valves(6a,6b), and a push rod(2) is mounted between the valve and the electromagnetic coil. A coil spring(5) is mounted out of the push rod, and a power switch(8) is formed in the electromagnetic coil. A foot brake is converted into a parking brake in parking with regulating flow of brake oil by using the electromagnetic coil, and the brake is operated conveniently with actuating or releasing the brake simply by operating the switch. The accident is prevented with restricting automatic release of the brake.
