PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to prevent lamp light radiated to a cooking room from leaking to the outside a cooking room by covering the whole top surface of a duct and a light shielding plate, thereby stably radiating light to the cooking room. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven includes a light shielding part(60) interposed between a peripheral part of a lamp receiving part(31) and a light shielding plate(50) for preventing the leakage of the light to the outside, wherein the light shielding part includes protrusion ribs(54) formed along a periphery of one of the peripheral part of the lamp receiving part and the light shielding plate toward the other one and receiving grooves(30) formed to the other one for receiving the protrusion ribs.
