PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit that can simplify the storage structure of duplicating data or reduce the data transfer amount in the case of generating scan job data with a hierarchical structure, where data of a high-order layer can store a plurality of data of lower layers. SOLUTION: When scan job data are generated with the hierarchical structure, where data of a high-order layer can store a plurality of data of lower layers, the information processing unit is characterized, in such a configuration that a CPU 41 discriminates whether the attribute of a plurality of data of the same layer located one layer lower from an upper layer and stored in data of the upper layer in the scan job data has the same value in each of the data; and when the CPU 41 discriminates that the attribute of each of the data is the same value, the data of the upper layer stores a list of information denoting the attribute whose value is the same. |
