<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an automatic aligning type board capable of reducing the cost and being made lightweight by effectively absorbing the coupling drifts in the lateral and longitudinal directions caused by the drift of the central axes and a precision error of male and female housings, reducing the number of the part items of the male and female housings, and miniaturizing them. SOLUTION: The male housing 2 is provided with a pair of locking hooks 12a and 12b coupled with the hole edges of the fitting hole 21 of a board 20 with an elastic snap integrally at both ends in the X-axis direction of a case so that the base sections on the other line side of male terminals 3 are elastically deflected in the Y-axis direction. When there is a precision error between the central axes of the male and female housings 2 and 4, the drift in the X-axis direction by the elastic deflections of the chamfering taper sections 17a and 17b on the female housing 4 side and the locking hooks 12a and 12b on the male housing 2 side and the drift in the Y-axis direction by the elastic bending of the base sections 3b of the male terminals 3 on the male housing 2 side are absorbed.</p> |
