PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an insertion-coupling force. SOLUTION: By dividing the second connector 20 into a plurality of housings 22L, 22R, the pole number and the peak value of its insertion-coupling resistance for each divided housing 22L and 22R is smaller. Furthermore, since an insertion- coupling timing of each divided housing 22L, 22R is made different, timing of an insertion-coupling resistance generation differs from one housing 22L to another 22R. That is, peak timing of the insertion-coupling resistance of each divided housing 22L and 22R is dispersed in a period from the start of insertion-coupling of a divided housing 22R to the completion of insertion- coupling of all divided housings 22L, 22R, so that the peak value of the insertion-coupling resistance (insertion-coupling control force) of the connector as a whole can be suppressed down to a low value. |
