PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an audio reproducing apparatus to surely receive broadcast, such as traffic information. SOLUTION: A receiving circuit 11, constituted on an electronic tuning system, is provided. A switch circuit 13, which selects audio signals outputted from the receiving circuit 11 and other audio signals outputted from a CD player 12, is provided. Setting means 21 and 22 for setting frequencies and time are provided. A memory 25 for storing the frequencies and the time set by the setting means 21 and 22 and a clock circuit 24 which clocks the present time are provided. When the present time, clocked by the clock circuit reaches the time stored in the memory 25, the receiving frequency of the receiving circuit 11 is set at the frequency stored in the memory 25 by channel-select signals, and the switch circuit 13 is controlled to supply audio signals outputted from the receiving circuit 11 to speakers 15L and 15R.
