SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURING DOCUMENT AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING DOCUMENT SECURITY PROGRAM

PURPOSE: A system and a method for document security and a recording medium storing a document security program are provided to completely secure documents by forcibly printing security information on the documents, to reduce the costs for building and managing a document security system, and to make management easy. CONSTITUTION: The document security system includes a server computer(10) having a security printing control server module(12), a user computer(20) having a security printing control client module(22), and a network printer(50) connected to the server computer and the user computer. The client module forcibly converts a document printing command into security printing work and writes printing data including security information. The printing data are displayed on a monitor. If a user presses a print confirming button after setting up security printing, user authentication is requested to the server module. The server module verifies user information and informs the result to the client module. The client module outputs the printing data by transmitting the printing data to the network printer via a printer manager(30).
