PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to simplify the installation structure of door opening parts and reduce the parts required for locking or unlocking the door, thereby improving the assembling work and reducing the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven includes a door button having a pressing part(111) provided to a front surface of a main body to be pressed and an operation protrusion(113) protruded from a rear surface of the pressing part backwardly with a downward slant surface toward the inside of the main body, and a hook operating element(130) liftingly mounted in an area between a hook holding part(21) and the operation protrusion and having a button contact part(135) contacting the slant surface of the operation protrusion and a hook contact part(133) contacting a hook part, wherein the hook operating element is lifted by the pressing of the door button for releasing the holding state of the hook part.
