PET TOY UTILIZING BARCODE READER, SYSTEM FOR GROWING CYBER CHARACTER ON INTERNET, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A pet toy utilizing a barcode reader, a system for growing a cyber character on the Internet, and a control method thereof are provided to induce the interest for product and a reality by supplying various kinds of food and drugs as a user scans a barcode of real daily necessaries. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a barcode reader(104) reading a barcode of product and converting the barcode into a digital data through digitizing, a barcode information storage(110) storing the barcode data such as a barcode, a product name and price concerned to the barcode, and so on in a database, a CPU(112) judging the existence of barcode by comparing the barcode read from the barcode reader with the barcode data of barcode information storage, a voice synthesizer(116) synthesizing an output voice from the barcode data of barcode information storage according to the operation of CPU, and a speaker(117) outputting the output voice synthesized by the voice synthesizer.
