The grader consists of a feed conveyor (14) which delivers the objects (12) to be graded one at a time to a distribution conveyor (20) synchronized with a measuring apparatus (18) and ejectors (24) connected to a central control unit. The measuring apparatus weighs the objects as they pass from the feed conveyor over a receiving plate (16) onto the corrugated surface of the distribution conveyor. The ejectors can be, for example, pneumatic or mechanical, removing the objects to the sides of the distribution conveyor according to their weight.
